When we are called on to give back to our country and our fellow man, few people come to mind that have set a better example of that than Eunice Kennedy Shriver

Woke up this morning and just had to share it with you. This is an example of the emotional toll on our troops.:
After witnessing the deaths of two soldiers in his company, Sgt. Jacob Blaylock returned home and tried to resume his life. But the memory of his fallen comrades haunted him. CLICK HERE

As a young boy I remember sitting in my room, surrounded by my toys, watching the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite. Looking back on it, perhaps it was a bit odd for a seven year old. I thought it would be cool to be that guy on TV. The town crier. About ten years later I went into to a radio station in Austin, Texas and begged and pleaded for even a small weekend radio shift. I got it. I was on my way to being like that guy on TV. Years later I had the privilege to interview Walter Cronkite. He corrected my English. Hehehehehe. I had to accept the fact- like so many other broadcasters- that while we may be on radio or TV there was nobody like that guy on TV and there never will be again.

One of the toughest interviews I have ever done

I don't remember the last time I have done an interview with such mixed emotions. On one hand you have a father who has lost a baby daughter. On the other hand you have a father who admits that it could have been prevented. And because of that, their house is now a crime scene and their surviving 14 month old is being held by child protective services. Listen for yourself. Here is Robby, the father of the baby when he called in to my morning show.

As you know I don't do interviews. Rolling Stone begs. Larry King cajoles. No. Ya wanna know what I think...listen to the show. But Brian was willing to give his two cents in my place in an interview with WBRZ. They used some of your calls and some of our show to highlight the deserved public outcry on the Thugging It DVD. Thanks to the folks at Channel Two for stopping by. Hope my surgical mask wasn't too weird for you. I saw another Michael do it once. Shamone!

As a kid growing up, we didn't have a dryer. We had a laundry line. I still remember how fresh my clothes smelled and how wonderful my sheets felt from hanging out in the yard that afternoon. Those days are not only over...they may be criminal?

In some communities across the U.S., clotheslines are banned and have become quite controversial. As Bill Geist reports on CBS SUnday Morning, the "Right To Dry" has become a national movement.

Come ON! How is this not weird? How can anyone look at this pic and say, "There was nothing odd about Michael Jackson and the way he raised his kids". Bullshit! These beautiful kids look like members of the Addams Family with Uncle Fester!

Last year, while he was flying from Nova Scotia to Nebraska on United Airlines, somebody broke his $3,500 guitar. But Carroll and his band, Sons of Maxwell, have told their tale with rhythm, harmony, rhyme, not to mention some wicked humor, and their four-minute, 37-second complaint, “United Breaks Guitars,” above, is racking up views on YouTube.
