Michael Castner is a co-host of the Castner and Walensky Show on RUSH RADIO WRNO New Orleans (also available through iTunes). He was the host of the Nightside Project. The show originated from Salt Lake City, Utah. Michael was heard week nights on KSL News Radio in Salt Lake, KTAR in Phoenix and Talk Radio 3WT in Washington DC. In less than a year after the program was launched, with Castner as the host, that time slot went from number 12 to number one and remained in the top position until Castner left the program.
Michael's career has spanned the spectrum of news, entertainment and politics. He came to Nightside from KFI, the number one news/talk radio station in Los Angeles. Prior to that Michael was a host on the E! Channel. During his 14 years at E! Michael covered the red carpet and hosted his own talk show. Michael joined E! after a stint as London bureau chief for Entertainment Tonight. He covered the White House and State Department for Tribune Broadcasting and then went on to serve as press advisor to then congressional candidate Joseph P. Kennedy II.
Michael was the recipient of a National Press Foundation Fellowship Grant and has won awards from the Texas Associated Press for Best Investigative Reporting and Feature Reporting.
He was once in the Hollywood Christmas Parade with Mario Lopez and Screech from Saved by the Bell. Don't ask. |
